“I learned about the Hotel Association of Tarrant County in 1999 while I was working at the Blackstone Courtyard in downtown Fort Worth as Sales Coordinator.  I knew that my GM, Jed Wagenknecht worked with them and would attend regular meetings on updates in the industry and had the opportunity to meet with some of the people involved in many different aspects of the county.  I held that job until I moved away from the area in 2003. I have since moved back as of May 2008 and as General Manager of the Fort Worth Fairfield Inn at University Drive I have definitely seen the importance of being involved with HATC. I’m looking forward to working with the association for many years to come especially after the resurgence of the association in the last few months. I believe it is absolutely a vital part of the hospitality community for updates, information and networking.  We have such great things to offer in Tarrant County and with the Super Bowl just around the corner in 2011, I know that HATC will keep everyone informed and involved leading up to that great event.”
